My Approach
Music should feel fun, achievable, and personal to every student. At B’s Studio, learning the piano is treated as a journey of discovery, a place where students of all ages can explore new ideas, try different styles and grow in confidence.
Lessons take place in a warm, supportive environment, with guidance that helps each pianist build strong technical skills and a real, lasting connection to the music they play.
Whether preparing for exams, learning favourite pieces, or creating something new, the aim is always the same: to nurture musical understanding, inspire confidence and help every student find their own musical voice.
About Me
I am a classically trained pianist and educator, having studied Musical Performance and Piano with UNISA in South Africa before completing my Teaching Diploma in the UK with the Royal Schools of Music.
With over 30 years of experience, I’ve taught performance, successfully prepared students for piano and theory exams across multiple boards, and supported students with GCSE music revision.
Alongside teaching, I’ve enjoyed performing for weddings, special events, venue entertainment, ensemble work and hosting my annual student recitals.
My Crawley UK based studio is built on warmth, professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping every student grow into the musician they aspire to be.
I am DBS checked and a full member of EPTA-UK.
